Pressing & Crushing
We process more than 100 ingredients into juice or puree every day, such as oranges, limes, lemons, strawberries, kiwis, berries, spinach, cucumbers, kale, ginger, carrots, and many more. Each ingredient must be pressed in a specific way, so that we can ensure that you get the best possible quality. Cold-pressed, so that all the nutrients are preserved.
We have various techniques to increase the shelf life of the juices and smoothies, including PEF (Pulsed Electronic Field Processing) and HPP (High Pressure Processing). These are both ‘cold pasteurisation’ techniques, whereby micro-organisms are eliminated without compromising the taste, structure or nutritional value. We are keen to help you decide which technique best suits your product and target market.
In our factories in the Netherlands, we have 3 fully-automated filling lines that are suitable for bottle sizes from 60 ml to 2 litres. We fill HDPE and PET bottles.
We handle growers and nature with respect. Ingredients are grown according to European standards and are regularly checked for residues. In our production areas, the European guidelines (BRC high level) in the area of hygiene are strictly complied with during all the steps in the production process: sorting, washing, pressing, pureeing, mixing, filling and packaging.
We don’t just ensure quality at the microbiological level; we also test the taste of our juices and smoothies extensively.
